Charter a Cirrus. Train in one. Or broker a flight.

East Wind Aviation is a brand-new, Cirrus-first private aviation service in the Toronto area — launching private charter of the Cirrus SR20 and SR22, flight training for the Private Pilot Licence, and charter brokerage connecting aircraft owners with people seeking a private flight.

Private charter · Flight training · Charter brokerage

01 In development

Three services on the runway

One brand, three services we’re getting ready to launch. Whether you want to be flown, to learn to fly, or to put your own aircraft to work, everything we do will be built around modern, parachute-equipped Cirrus aircraft.

01

Private charter

We’re building on-demand charter in a Cirrus SR20 or SR22 — for one to four passengers plus your pilot, skipping the terminal, the parking drama and the security line. Phase 1 is local: Ontario trips out of the Toronto area.

  • Planned business runs: day trips from Toronto to regional Ontario airports, the way executives actually want to travel.
  • Planned leisure escapes: from minutes-away fields to cottage country and lakeside getaways — a door-to-dock afternoon.
  • Honest pricing: a plain quote for the trip, before you fly. No memberships, no black cards.

02

Flight training

Learn to fly the modern way: your Private Pilot Licence in a Cirrus, with a glass cockpit from day one and a whole-airframe parachute behind you. Ground school, dual and solo hours, one continuous program — all in development for launch.

  • Discovery flights: your first lesson will be an actual lesson — you fly.
  • Planned PPL pathway: a structured syllabus through solo, cross-country and checkride.
  • Planned Cirrus transition: already a pilot? You’ll be able to get comfortable in the SR-series with us.

03

Charter brokerage

You won’t have to own an aircraft to fly — and aircraft owners won’t have to fly their own aircraft to keep them busy. East Wind will match aircraft owners who have availability with carefully vetted charter clients who need a trip.

  • Owners: list downtime on your Cirrus or other aircraft and we’ll fill it responsibly.
  • Clients: one request, one quote, one crew — we’ll find the right aircraft for the mission.
  • Handled end to end: we’ll co-ordinate scheduling, briefings and billing with both sides.

02 The Cirrus commitment

Why we're choosing Cirrus

We’ll put our students and passengers in Cirrus aircraft because no other single-engine piston line asks you to trade comfort away for safety. Here, safety is simply built in.

CAPS — a parachute for the whole airplane

Every Cirrus carries the Cirrus Airframe Parachute System: one handle brings the aircraft down under canopy. Nothing else in this class can say that.

Perspective Touch+ glass cockpit

The new SR20 G7+ flies with Cirrus Perspective Touch+ powered by Garmin: dual wide touchscreens, synthetic vision, terrain and traffic awareness — the same generation of avionics you’d expect on an airliner.

Built for the back seats too

Composite airframe, four-to-five real seats, club seating and elbow room that feel nothing like a trainer — arriving fresh matters as much as arriving early.

03 The planned workhorse

Cirrus SR20, at a glance

The aircraft at the centre of our flight-training plans: a modern, naturally aspirated Cirrus with fixed gear, a three-blade propeller, CAPS and the Perspective Touch+ flight deck.

05 How it will work

One email to wheels-up

STEP 1

Tell us the mission

Chartering, learning or listing an aircraft — send the plan below with when, where and who. We reply to every request personally.

STEP 2

We build the plan

As we launch, you’ll get an aircraft assignment, an honest quote and a briefing — or a training syllabus that shows exactly how your licence unfolds.

STEP 3

Fly the east wind

Meet your pilot at a Toronto-area airfield and go. Once we’re airborne, charter clients board in minutes; students take the controls on lesson one.

06 Get in touch

Start with a flight brief

We’re getting ready to launch — every enquiry starts a conversation here. Tell us what you’re after and we’ll get back to you personally — usually within one business day.
